Eric Wald is the creator and executive producer of the dark mermaid thriller SIREN (Freeform/Hulu), which recently finished its third season and was the top-rated show on the network in terms of overall viewers. Prior to SIREN, Eric wrote the drama pilot BUDDY for ABC and Warner Bros TV with Jinks/Cohen producing. He also sold the pilots SUPER AMERICA (Fox TV/NBCUniversal) and EMERALD CITY (NBC-Universal), both of which were produced by David Bartis and Doug Liman at Dutch Oven. Eric is a graduate of the prestigious UCLA MFA Screenwriting program. During his first year in the program, his script, A VIEW FROM THE TOP, sold to Miramax Films, and was produced starring Gwyneth Paltrow, Mark Ruffalo, Mike Myers, Christina Applegate, and Candice Bergen. VIEW FROM THE TOP was produced by Brillstein-Grey Entertainment. Eric sold the family comedy PERFECT PET to New Line Cinema, and the dramedy SWEAT to Fox 2000 with Amy Heckerling attached to direct. His other feature writing assignments include THE ACCOUNTANT & THE STRIPPER (Paramount Pictures, Donald De Line), MR. BLANDINGS BUILDS HIS DREAMHOUSE (RKO Films), and LIVING LEGEND (Columbia Pictures). Eric is represented by The Gersh Agency.
